Gattica have been involved during option selection Stage 1 activities to inform the client on various utility constraints and propose design solutions as the scheme developed and matured.
As part of the project Gattica examined the impact of the proposed scheme alignments on the existing utility infrastructure as captured within the scheme boundary. Gattica have advised on high-level budget estimates, timings, survey, land requirements and provided ongoing guidance and clarification to the clients where requested. Gattica has assess the significance of the impact of each affected utility against each developed scheme alignment.
Project Scope
Our Key Responsibilities
- Undertake C2 searches of the scheme area to obtain utility maps from all of the Statutory Undertakers that are affected within the project area
- Produce a composite Existing Services Drawing (ESD) AutoCAD Model and undertake a clash assessment against each selected option to compare their impact on the affected utility infrastructure
- Produce a utilities clash register with all recorded clashes including details of the type of the affected service, approximate position, as well as provide a high-level cost estimate, risk and programme analysis of any potential utility diversions for each selected option
- Updated National Highways PCF products as required throughout the project development
